EGS-Hiatal Hernia?

Had my EDG yesterday for pre-qualifation, was told I had hiatal hernia and she would repair it during the lap-band surgery ,question I'm asking will this extend my hospital stay and recover. I didnt get to ask since I was awakening from sedation.

I had a hiatal hernia and lap band done today. I did not stay over night.

No, it might be more painful though. I had mine repaired the same time I got the surgery and I had a horrible recovery week (or maybe I'm just a baby). Either way it goes you will be okay.
