My surgeon was Stacie Perlman, of Rose Medical in Denver, Colorado. She is wonderful!! When I listened to her speak at the seminar I attended, I knew right away that I wanted her to be my surgeon. In order to make an appt for a consult with Dr. Perlman, you must attend a seminar done by her regarding weight loss surgery. In the seminar you meet the doctor and see a presentation on the different types of weight loss surgery available. You also meet several of their existing patients who in turn tell their story, the best and the worst, and you know what? Not one of the existing patients had anything negative to say whatsoever. At my consult with Dr. Perlman I realized right away that I had made the right decision for me. She made me feel very comfortable and I knew I could ask her anything. She explains things in a way that I could certainly understand. She came to see me before they took me down to surgery and was there when I woke up. She is the BEST!!
