Hi :) I have to tell you that your answer to Angelica really got me thinking. I'm pre-op right now, very pre-op in fact, but I've been really contimplating if I'll have the mental strength to resist my bad eating habbits once I have my band. Your answer to her answered my own question. I love your writing style and saw you had a link to a blog, so being the nosy person I am, I started reading some of your posts. That was at 11pm. It is now 1am and I cannot stop thinking that knowing what I know about me, I am going to be very much like you after I have my band put in. Reading about how you freaked out and threw sausage across the kitchen, regretably, that is exactly how I would have acted in that situation. I'm already learning more about what I can expect myself to go through then I could have guessed just from reading your blogs. I hope that doesn't come across as "stalker"-ish as I would probably take it if someone I didn't know told me that, but I just wanted to say that you helped me. Whether you know it or not, sharing your personal stories probably helps a lot of people who just want to hear it from someone else.

Hello! I saw your post and could not believe you lost 100lbs in less then 10 months. That is wonderful. So tell me your secret. I have heard from other people that it's really difficult after surgery with bought of hunger. Did you go through that? Congradulations again and I'm so glad you posted that because I wondered if there was anyone out there that lost 100lbs.

this may sound super corny!...but would you mind being my "pen-pal" I got assigned an "angel" through my doctors office but i'm not sure what i think about it...first of all she's a roux-y patient and 2nd of all she's not very "chatty" which i think is because the stuff i say or ask she really has no clue about since she had a totally different surgery!

so i'm just looking for someone i can email...i'm not sure if you have the time or not?? either way it's ok!

It really seems like you're trying to tell it how it is and now sugar coat things...and i like that your my age! I don't mind giving a comment here or there on LBT and I enjoy reading the messages but sometime i feel like i can't really say things because there's always going to be that person that lectures you or your comment just gets lost.

anyway...just let me know! if you're interested my email is aarant2@aol.com.

    Thanks! Amee

Thanks so much for taking the time to post an answer to my introduction. I've been reading a lot lately and am starting to realize the lap band can HELP me but is not an automatic fix. I have lots of problems in my head with overeating which will need to be addressed.

Hi Just Wondering About The Tummy Tuck... I Started Out At 256 April 7 2008 Lost Down To 241 By Surgery Date And Now Today At 228. I Would Like To Get Down To About 165. I Do Carry Alot Of My Weight In My Stomach/ Upper Body. Just Wondering How Bad Your Skin Is On Your Tummy And Where You Carried Most Of Your Weight. I Say I Don't Care Now If I Have Belly Skin Cause It Sure Don't Look Good Now But I May When The Time Comes. Are You Self Paying For This Tummy Tuck Or Ins Covering Some....just Wondering
