How are you doing?

I got lots of rest and took advantage of all the good drugs they were willing to dish up! I went back to my part-time job yesterday (only 2.5 hours in the evening), but had gone shopping for about 2 hours before that and it was rough. Who knew it took so much energy to walk in and out of stores???
Went for my post-op check with the surgeon today and he is thrilled with my progress and I am too - 11 pounds in 6 days! I know it will slow down when I start eating again, but I ma certainly enjoying it now!

My surgery experience went pretty well. I was waking up in recovery an hour and a half after being wheeled into surgery. I had chosen to stay overnight because it was just over an hour to the hospital and was glad I did because I had to be cathed twice. Other than that, everything went well! Glad you had an uneventful experience. We are on our way now!!

I am doing pretty good, i hope everything is going great for you!! The first week after the surgery was pretty tough but after that i started to feel good! I even went to garden ridge lol. I am having a hard time not eating food...The liquid thing sucks real bad! I get to start mushies next week and my doctor said next friday i can have 1 piece of whole wheat toast with no crust lol. Let me know how you are doing and thank you for wondering about me!

Hi, how are you doing? I am at day 11 post-surgery and am feeling pretty good! Back to work and more energy than usual. The gas pains are finally not here for the last 2 days. I am telling more and more people about my surgery and fell like I have a lot of support. My husband is very supportive, he worries alot about me. I can't wait for the weight restriction to be off so I can lift my granddaughter, but she's walking around now and doesn't want held much anyway. It's the family joke that at family gatherings, Courtney and I will be eating the same food!

Hi, I was just banded Monday the 19th of May and am doing okay. SOme discomfort and alot of sleepiness. I WAS going back to work today, HA HA. My husband and boss said NO. I am praying and thanking God through all the steps discomfort and all. Hope this message finds you well.
