Hey, just checking in. Hope all is well. Just got back from a long vacation. Doing good. Down 27 lbs and 2 pant sizes.

I am excited to get a WII Fit. They are sold out around here. Twenty lbs is so awesome. I love the fact that you are measuring instead, That is such a better indicator. I love the holiday idea. The other date was on one too...MEMORIAL DAY (remembering the dead!!!) I guess this one will be much more FUN! I have been applying everywhere to try to line up a job for after surgery. I have put my life on hold because I kept telling myself I didn't want to start a new job and then try to get time off for surgery. We are going to Michigan the day I have my one week check up. They said just to stand up and walk every hour. It is already a 12-13 hour trip without stopping except for gas and traffic. I hope you keep up the great work. That's great you getting it near a holiday. You have an excuse to throw a party each year. As the weight I have been going up and now 3-5lbs. I do see my clothes getting looser but I'm measuring myself now. I think I rather focus on the lose inches at my waist than watching the scale. I love the WII Fit - it has real exercises even Yoga and a lot of balance games. It has different levels and once you complete a weight goal or a certain amount of hours you get access to new games and exercises.

Yes, I did get a date. I am to be banded on July third and I told my DH that I would come out on Independence day with new independence!!! Are you well? I see you are kicking butt on the weight loss as of the 11th of June, how about now? Do you LOVE the WII Fit? I have WII and was going to buy it, but I didn't know if it was real exercise or just a game. Take care and thank you for checking on me. I got too sad to write much until I got my date. -Donita

I have an infection in my jaw, so I am not sure when I will get banded. June sometime I guess. You keep up the good work of delegating you job!!! :o) How much are you down now?

The surgery went well and I'm doing ok.
I took about two weeks off from work. I was going to back early but I'm letting my co-workers actually work. LOL
