    Hey Hollyberries,

    I have a consult for lap band tomorrow (05/23/08) in Oxford, MS. I have been on the pre-op instructions (no sugar, clear liquids and 3 SlimFast Optima per day) and have lost 15.8 lbs in 5 days. I have been researching on the web all week. Your photos and story have given me the most encouragement of anything I have seen. I'm starting out at 295. I'm 52 years old. My family is very supportive of this and I work for a physician (Internal Medicine) who supports me in this also. I have two sons (33 and 23) and two grandchildren (6 and 8). What do your boys think about your journey?
