Hey Holly, you and I are just a couple pounds away from our starting wt for this challenge.....oh btw...great wt loss to date....I am so freakin happy for you. I really hope that by my bandiversary I will hit 100 lbs loss. So for the summer meltdown I gave myself only 15lbs loss to pysch myself. I figure, hit that goal and set another....(shhhhh dont tell me,,,,,lol). So lets work at this together, pump each other up, and help each other up :) u in?
I have been on a turtle pace. My doc says i am doing good, but I am personally disappointed. Some ppl have lost way more than me and banded near the same time.....I know everyone is diff, i get that, BUT it is still frustrating. So I need you all to help me get off this butt of mine, and put it in gear. I have an elliptical, brand new (last year), and my husband is threatning to throw outside if i dont use it......:P
Okay, so today i promise to you all>>>>>>> i will get on the ellip for atleast 10 minutes.....i will keep you posted

I don't know what happened this week but I am down 2lbs. Must be the Burn Baby Burn Water Aerobics Class I started Tuesday along with my morning water aerobics...

I had actually gained 2 lbs earlier this week so at least I lost those and an additional pound. That's 50 for me!
Can someone please tell me why it takes me a week to lose one measly pound but only one day to gain 2? :confused2:

I can't explain it because all knowledge indicates that it takes over 3000 calories to gain a pound...I think. Well, hell I know that I am not eating 3000 calories and I still gain. I really think it might be water/salt our bodies...our bands....our husbands...our kids...awe heck no idea. Just hate it.

I didn’t loose anything this week at all . I have no restriction at all. I fear that my pouch might be stretch I am not sure . My next doctor’s appointment is for July 23. I am going to do the pouch test starting Sunday to see how that works for me. I hope it works otherwise I have to move up my appointment. mariegabrieleee

Marie I feel the same way. I'm having a barium meal on Thursday to check my band. I have 9cc in a 10cc band but still able to eat a fair amount of food. I don't have any other symptoms so I'm hoping that I'm a late bloomer and my day will come.

I'm all for blaming the husband. I blame him for my gaining weight in the first place! Hell, he's used to taking the blame. Kids too, especially the teenager...or is that why my hair is going gray? 
Sades, what do you mean the answer to life is 42? Do you mean age 42? I'm 44, does that explain why my body loves to torture me with overnight weight gains?
