Ok, just a few days left till the end of this challenge. The first day of summer is Saturday. I was thinking we could have a Summer Meltdown Challenge until Labor Day. That would give us a little over 2 months to really get some weight off. What do you all think? Is almost 10 weeks too long for a challenge or would that be OK?

OK...one freakin pound in 16 days...I am really hoping it is the exercise. I started water aerobics about 4 weeks ago and have really been losing slowly and going up and down but this week I have consistently went down daily to mount up to my 1lb loss. I will take it though.
Cindy I like your idea of the rest of the summer until labor day.
Come on everyone we can be big loser this summer.

Labor Day in the U.S. is Monday, September 1st. I forgot that we have different holidays! I wonder why we don't have more international members. Is banding as popular in Australia as it is here?

It's very popular here as well Cindy. We started banding people here before the US I believe but our population is so small next to yours that we will never have as many as you. I think I am the only Aussie in this November group ?? Anyone ?? There is a Australian support section on this site and we have a few out there as well but this site is one of the best ones I've seen. Thanks for the date, first day of Spring for us. It will be nice to be another size or so down by then.

Ok... 8 pounds. It is not the 20-some-odd that was my goal.
I will take it though. This was a good challenge for me though. I broke through two goals. One was the 100 pound loss and the other was to get into the two-hundreds! It just so happened to happen at the same time since I started out at 400 lbs!!!! 
Now it on to a more realistic goal for the summer melt down.

Bother! If you count the number of times I lost and gained that miserable 2 pounds over the last month, I more than met my goal. I WILL get into the 220s SOOOOOOON. I started the pouch shrinking thing yesterday.
