First fill...and a question

Hey everyone,
I just had my first fill two days ago....2.3 cc's. Liquids go down easily but I tried my first mushy food and it really hurts when it goes down. Is this normal? When will eating with no pain happen? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you are still very tight. How much was in your band and how much did they add?

I would stay on liquids for a few more days. Then try mushies - very slowly. Cottage cheese worked good for me. Tuna salad and such did not -- that took a long while.

I was filled 2.3 cc's. I forgot how many cc's my band is in total. I am seeing my dr. on Friday and will ask him then. If things are still painful when I eat then, I will let him know. Thanks for the suggestions!!
