I was just recently banded on 11/19 by Dr. Elliot in Ricnmond VA and am SO glad that I decided to go through with it!! Is anyone else from around here, mabye with the same doctor or The Richmond Surgical Group in general? I started my pre-op diet on 11/07 and to date have already lost 17 pounds, which is way more than I expected so soon! (My goal is to lose 100 pounds) My only problem is that after eating my meals, I still feel hungry at this point. Is that normal? I go for my first follow-up appointment on Monday, so I'm stoked to hear how he thinks I'm progressing.
