Dr. Deol, Troy, Mich. | I was on Opti fast for 2 weeks...just the opposite here, found it easier at first but by the time my two weeks came to a close, I could hardly get it down. From my first appt. with Dr. Deol until I got approved from my insurance was 2 weeks. I had scheduled all of my other stuff like the cardio work up along with my physical / blood workbefore I saw her, so once I met with her all I need was the two visits with the nutritionist and psych eval. My PCP was not supportive at all with my decision to have this done, which is why I am going to switch to one she recommends. The fill went great this morning. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. No pain what so ever. It is nice to have someone with the same doc.

My PCP was also not supportive of the LAP-BAND ® either. He actually had the nerve to compare it to an abortion! He said he couldn't "recommend it" because he thought there were other ways to lose weight. He crossed so many words on my consent form that Dr. Deol said insurance would never accept it. Finally after making me go through months of testing, I guess he felt like he had to sign it.

9/25/07 First fill 1cc - 10/1/07 Unfill .25cc - just right
Dr. Deol moved to Chicago. Found Dr. Bhesania in Port Huron.
1/17/08 Second fill .7cc - then had to have a little taken out -.4 I love my band!
