Great job Salsa. You are inspiring a lot of people who never imagined being able to run a marathon.

I took a 4 mile walk yesterday. Work has been really busy. I will try and post my exercise later today.

Molly, how's everything going? I hope you're feeling better, and please post an update when you can.

I did one hour of cardio and one hour of weight training (arms/upper body) today.

Have a great night everyone!

Today's exercise included an hour of cardio and an hour of bending, lifting, digging, etc., in the garden. I'm tired!

Well, I'm going to give myself a little pat on the back tonight. It is the worst part of my TOM (TMI for all of you probably sorry ), AND I had a horrendous toothache (not sure what's up with that, need to see the dentist tomorrow) BUT, I still did my Couch to 5K session!

Becky, you are going to have one pretty garden to look at while you're recovering!

Have a great night everyone!

Frangi you did better than I did. I was supposed to do 8 miles, but that just didn't happen. I did 3.5...bleh! My body just wouldn't work. I tried walking and it was having none of that today either! I have NO idea what my problem is. Maybe it just need a break!

Frangi, I hope you get your toothache taken care of today. I'm sure impressed that you still did your couch to 5k workout.

Salsa, 3.5 is still awesome. Sometimes you just need a break.

I did another hour of cardio this morning.

That is what I keep telling myself. 3.5 miles is a HECK of a lot more than I could do 6 months ago. I think the 2 really long runs a week is more than I should do. I think I am going to drop it to three 4 mile runs and 1 long run per week. I think that will be better for me. 8 miles is a long time to run when I have been at work from 4AM to 3:30 pm. At some point time really does become an issue!

Hi everyone!!

I did my walking on Tuesday and yesterday. I glad to report I am down 4.4 pounds for the month but...2.4 of it was what I gained having the good time with the girls. I am organizing a Biggest Loser contest at work for June. There are so many of us that want to shed what we can before the summer. So, the South Beach Diet Book is open to page 1, Day 1..

I will post today's exercise later tonight!

Jody,

Congratulations!!!!

Don't forget to change your signature!!!! You're nearly halfway there for the month and we still have 8 more days to reach our goal.

I eat a South Beach Cereal Bar nearly every day, and when I'm traveling I sometimes have them for breakfast and lunch. They're pretty good and they fill you up too.

Thanks Frangi. I really have to buckle down like you ladies did and get this job done. I am hoping for some really big numbers in June.

I did my usual 4.5 miles today.

Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!!

Ran 4 miles today. Going to get some walking in tomorrow as we are going to drive out to the course that I am going to be running in the half marathon.
