Hello all,
Just found this forum yesterday. I'm looking forward to reading, learning and joining in.

I had my lap band done on 24th of July 2007, in Idaho.
I'm never hungry and its wonderful and I've NEVER been filled.........yet!
I have lost 61lbs and have 25lbs to go to get to my ideal weight.

I am very nervous though about being able to maintain my weight, but I'll worry about that when I get there.

yes I'm loosing a steady 10 lbs monthly and since I'm never hungry they don't think its necessary. Thats fine I feel like it will be there waiting if I need it. My stomach much have been huge for that to keep working....LOL

Ebonie Welcome - Come join us on our big thread (the one with all the post #'s)- most of us post there - I rarely come to the main page..
I am like you I am more worried about maintaining - I have 28 to my first goal but truely need to get to lose 43 to get to a normal bmi - but one battle at a time..

Greeneyez - Not everyone has to have fills - there are a few who with just having the band in place have enought restriction - some people hit their sweet spot with their 1st fill some dont get it until their 10th. The band is so different for each of us - I was banded 6 months ago have only had 2 fills - got this week and may need a tad of adjustment ...
