That's cute Phyl. Although I'm not sure about the vomit green eye shadow that girl is wearing.

I actually am doing alright. The lab doesn't open until 7:30 am and I can't afford to take any more time off of school seeing that I have to drive back to my band doctor on June 3 to get medical clearance for my TT. I would have tried to go in at lunch but it wasn't until this morning that I saw that she wanted a fasting cholesterol test, so I have to wait at least 10 hours! So I am just drinking my water and trying to ignore the lightheadedness that I have. My kids are just preparing for their test tomorrow so it is just working with a lot of them one on one and not worrying about them running around the classroom like 2 year olds...they are actually working because they are freaked out over the test...I LOVE IT!

I never was asked to wear a compression bra, just a CLOSE FITTING Sports Bra... there were no CUPS or wires... just a comfortable thing, mostly lycra and elastic... I wore that for 6 weeks then went to the Dr. for check up...

I don't think I wore an Official Bra again for 3 months.

But it was SO worth it!~~

Good luck

Whew...survived that. I was actually able to go in and have the blood work done during my lunch/prep period. We had a meeting scheduled during lunch but our Asst. Principal had to leave so that freed up my lunch and prep period so that I could have it done and then eat.

I was VERY cautious when I came back and ate so that I wasn't eating too fast, get stuck and then PB. Whew...that was a long day. Now I have to go have my annual exam after school, followed by the in person support group. Wow...could today get any better??? NOT! This is the last support group that I will hopefully have to go to though. The lady I go with can't attend the next one and I will be recovering from my TT for the following one. Maybe then she will forget to call me! Wishful thinking!

Glad you didn't have to wait all the way until 2:30. That would have killed me.

Today was my last day lunch. They do a special meal for everyone leaving. This year it is 3 seniors and 3 teachers. I chose taco salad, watermelon, creamed cucumbers and cinnamon swirl bread. Before you jump, the requirements are protein, veggie, fruit, bread, if you want dessert. I can't give up creamed cucumbers and refuse to even try.

I ate too much and shouldn't have. I just couldn't stop. Some days I really wonder if there is a band in there. I chewed really well and all so I didn't get stuck, but I wonder if I shouldn't have been able to eat that much.

Drinking tea now. My water consumption has been very low the last few days. I need to up it a lot. I won't give excuses....just write myself a ticket. Is everyone else doing well with their water?????

Gotta run. Awards night.

Our bands are SOOOO fickle!! Since my last fill, I've been fairly tight and often unable to eat more than a few bites of my meal, but then I have occasions like you had today when it seems I can eat as much as I want. It's very frustrating. DD invited us over for burgers the other night. (YES, she really did and she is sort of being friendly again.) I ate one whole burger, without the bun, but also a spoonful of beans, potato salad, macaroni salad!! Not good! Then she brought out strawberries and angel food cake for dessert. I took some, but could only eat a couple of bites. That probably contributed to no weight loss this week!

I'm doing pretty good on water.... counting about 24-32 oz of crystal lite every day, (I use the Wal-Mart brand... tastes just as good and WAY cheaper at $1.88 a can), and I have about the same amount of coffee every day.

Warning!!

You've heard about people who have been abducted
and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves.

My thighs were stolen from me during the night

a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Whose thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking
for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned
myself to living out my life in jeans. And then the
thieves struck again.

My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the fle sh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary - my body was being replaced one section at a time.

What could they do to me next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I
decided to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up
and smell the coffee! Those 'plastic' surgeons are
using REAL replacement body parts -stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something 'lifted', look again - was it lifted from you?

THIS IS NOT A HOAX.

This is happening to women everywhere every night.

WARN YOUR FRIENDS!

P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my Boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone!
But when I jumped out of bed,
I was relieved to see that they had
just been hiding in my armpits as I slept.
Now I keep them hidden in my waistband....

Good morning everyone. Just stopping in to wish you all a strong day and to remind you to drink your water. I was bad yesterday and didn't have enough and ended up with a headache. It only dawned on me this morning that it was probably because I was dehydrated. It was warm yesterday (not as warm as Janet's) and I was outdoors a lot and should have had more water than I did. Bad girl!

DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!

I wanted to mention to Phyl and Stephanie that last night on the news during the 'For Your Health' segment, they talked about what to order from fast food places and highly recommended the book you two have called "Eat This, Not That". :biggrin2:

I tell you, I love it! You can pick it up and read it for 5 minutes and then put it back down. It fits in the glove box so if you're out and about you can look at it. I do think they focus more on fat and not enough on the other stuff....but that's just me.

Well.. gotta run. if you all have a chance, say a yippeeeee!!! Kids are done and I will be tomorrow!!!!!!!

Bu-by now
