www.dietfacts.com

I'm not sure if someone here told me about this site, or if I found it on my own. Anyway, it was worth sharing.

I've got it on my Favorites list now, along with www.nutritiondata.com.

You're welcome, Carol.

Paula - I know!! I went to Chili's with a friend yesterday and after a long and painful process of decision making I decided to have my old favorite, the Crispy Chicken Salad. It arrived. It was HUGE! And I ended up picking off the crunchy outside of the fried chicken strips, which is what I used to love about the dish. I ate a very tiny bit of it and took the rest with me in a box. I was out all day taking pictures so it all went bad. And boy am I glad! I looked it up and that innocent looking salad has 850 calories!!! OMG! I docked myself 500 calories for what I ate, just to teach myself a lesson! *laughs*

This site is the most valuable in terms of raw nutritional data!! Like having your own personal nutritionist! TONS of useful info!! I can't stop browsing this site!! A nutrition label for all these fast foods I'm eating? Too cool!! My poor little Taco Bell Mexi Melt....Make this a sticky!

PNut,

This is one of my favorite dishes at Chili's but I always ask them to make it with Grilled Chicken. I've done this at several different restaurants and they have no problem with it. I haven't had it since banding though.

Audra, I should have done that but I was after that fried chicken! LOL! The thing is, I ended up peeling most of that off of the chicken anyway. It just doesn't hold the same appeal for me that it used to. My friend got the Carribean Chicken Salad - grilled chicken and it was half the calories! So yup, grilled would have been better. Good think I could only eat about 1/8th of that huh?
