Why cant we have low cal carbonated drinks occasionally ?
I know some people can no longer manage gassy drinks, but I find if I sip them I have no problem. I am going on holiday soon and would like to know that I can have the occasional fizzy drink with a clear concience, or is there a medical reason why they should be avoided.

Some doctors believe that the gas can cause the pouch to stretch. DeLarla (Lisa) recently asked her doctor about this and was told that is not really proven, but it's better to stay away from them because they are loaded with crap and even the 0 cal ones aren't that healthy. I can sip on them as well, and I do sometimes. I don't have more than one a day on a day when I am going to have a soda, and I don't have them every day. For me, I just listen to my tummy and leave it at that.

I like to sometimes drink beer and I just recently discovered a way to make it flat, no more carbination.
If you swirl some milk in a glass and then just rinse the glass with water, anything you pour into that glass will fizz out and become flat. There is no milk taste.
