The EAS AdvantEdge drinks are the best I have found so far. The already mixed only have 17g protein but sometimes it's worth it for the convenience.

hey

Well, water would be the only thing any better and you don't get any caloric value or protein from WATER. You are doing just fine as far as it not being fattening. You have to have calories and these are GOOD calories. If you have 3 shakes a day you are getting the bulk of your protein from the shakes with only minimal calories. Good luck and hang in there! I had a shake this morning for breakfast.

I agree about using the EAS brand. I use the powder so I can mix it with whatever I want. Doesn't mix well with vodka LOL. The worst I ever tried was "Body Fortress" whey powder from WalMart. Cheap, and you get what you pay for.

Muscle milk lite premixed is a great meal for me,has loads of vitamins,20 grams of protein and low carbs and calories.I have one for breakfast and lunch as I do not have time to sit down for an hour for a meal, then I have a normal dinner and use a mix protein at home for after dinner snack the GNC whey protein 2 scoops has 40 grams of protein for a daily total of 80 grams of protein plus whats in my meal. This way I know I am getting in my calcium, protein and vitamins .

I like the lean body brand. The choc and vanilla are good low sugar. It comes in permixed containers each 30 grams of protein. I have to agree on the walmart one it is horrible.

Well I have been on LAP-BAND® for 2 and half years. My doctor was fired one month after my surgery, so I am starting all over again with a new doc who has put me on liquids for a week to shrink my stomach back down. So far I like boost high protein in the chocolate flavor. Not sure how good that one is for me though.

I have the EAS Advant Edge Chocolate drink have been drinking it for a week but it still has a slightly chalky taste. Using two ice cubes and a cup of 1% milk. I found Hersey's sugar free syrup in the store and did a squirt (chocolate but they have strawberry also) into the blender and it sure boosted the flavor and it tastes more like a real milk shake.

I bought UNJURY drinks online. They were very reasonable haven't tried them yet. Heard they were the best though. Got all 4 flavors and didn't by the no flavor but my try that with other drinks.

Have appointment (final) with my surgeon tomorrow and want my weight down even more so today all shakes...and tomorrow AM also.

Surgery for 7th and I am sooooo nervous and excited at the same time.

Got to hit the store for a few more things I need post op this week.

Take care all
Pati

I like the protein bullets with Crystal Light...you can get it with 27g or 42g protein. I usually get peach or fruit punch, if you mix it with the fruit punch Crystal Light, you can't even tell that they are in there!

I also like Jarrow formula Carribean Chocolate. 2 scoops with 1 C skim milk...very filling!
