So canned tuna... but does anyone have problems with canned chicken? Is this an option for a change from canned tuna to canned chicken?

I say try it - It should all be good don't ya think?? I personally do fresh chicken breast & than slice them up but I would think your way would be just has tasty seeing that it all gets mixed together anyhow. seems fasted & cleaner too. I just may try it myself;0)

Yes, definitely, tuna or chicken! We're just usually thinking convenience by using the canned t. or c. I'd love to have home canned tuna.

Thank you all for the great responses! It's so interesting to see the different recipes from such a variety of regions.

Nana I thought my husband was the only one that ate tuna mixed with cottage cheese. I will have to let him know he is not alone in the world.

For a subsitute to the mayo and those extra pesky calories associated with the mayo I use dijon mustard. It gives the tuna a kick and spices up the flavor. I usually eat the tuna without breads or crackers. I try to eat with celery if possible.
