....do ya all just cut & squeeze out the stuffing, or do ya just cut into chunks and eat it down?
or does the skin do something bad to yer PB record?

My DH doen't have any problems with sausage skins. I am still on liquids, but I've made soup with spiced sausages and just fished the skins out of the soup.
Are you speaking about little breakfast sausages, or spiced sausages?

Jack, sausage skins are a little 'catchy' for me, so yes, I do cut mine up. Havent done the dogs yet, sorry!

Jack, I buy turkey breakfast sausages and when I try to cut them up to mix them with my scrambled eggs or egg subtitute....the skins don't want to stay on so I've gotten in the habit of taking the skins off before I cut them up. Personally it works better for me. I tried eating a regular polish type sausage one day and it doesn't stay down. Haven't tried a regular hot dog yet.

I've cooked a few of the larger spicy turkey sausages with eggs....and slit open the end, squeezing out the contents....but it's a bit messier than I intended...
haven't tried the little doggies yet....and can't imagine I'll ever develop a taste for the old hot dogs....
I don't need no sausage casing to give me troubles.....

Jack, if the casing is tough, I peel it, if it's not then I eat it. You can pretty much tell when you take your first bite if you can chew it up good or not.

I always squished the guts out before getting banded. I'm not sure if that stuff is edible one way or another. Try this: Squish the insides out and set the skins aside. Then inspect the skins and eat them plain. GROSS, right? Then why eat them either way?
