Where can I get samples of protein drinks? I don't want to pay a lot of money for something that I might not like.

Some vitamin shops have individual packets that you can buy pretty cheap. Someone on here says bariatriceating.com has some too. I've never tried them. I have tried some of the stuff at Trader Joe's and had good results. Also if something is totally gross most places will allow you to exchange it for something different. ~Mandy

bariatriceating.com carries the best tasting and highest quality products on the market. they will send you a nice sample set of them...be sure and tell them if there's any flavor you particular don't like (banana?) or one you particular do like (berry?). My favorite for a warm drink (after you can have coffee again) is Nectar Brand Cappacino....I mix one scoop in a 2-cup mug every morning; my friend likes to make an iced coffe drink out of it.

BariatricEating.com is also one of THE most expensive places you can go.

Lauren, Matrix will send you samples for free. You have to go to the manufacuturer vs. the vendors, but they are free. Do a Google search on Syntrax for their Matrix products.

www.unjury.com sells samples as well. I think everyone should at least give their 'unflavoured' a try.

bariatriceating.com is the one that lost my order and didn't offer to do anything to make up for it (I ordered it 2 weeks pre-op so I could test things, they didn't arrive till the day after my surgery--only because I called them 3x's till someone finally said they lost my order).

I won't be ordering from them again!! But they did include free samples with the order, haven't tried one of them yet.. one was vanilla cinnamon and I don't like cinnamon, and the other was a cookies & cream matrix sampler, and it was disgusting.
