Question Protein powder

Aquestion for pre- and post-op clear liquids. Can you use protein powder or do you just rely on the protein in the broth you drink? Thank you. I'm being banded Oct. 14 and I thought I had a handle on all of this. The closer I get the more questions pop into my mind!

Re: Protein powder

for me the first few days was just clear liquids after that it was full liquids, once I went to full liquids I could have protein drinks.I will even suggest Bolthouse soy protein drinks and Green goodness it looks gross taste great and has tons of nutrients and very satisfying.

Re: Protein powder

You can also dissolve a full packet of Knox Gelatin into your broth or clear liquids to get about 10 grams of protein easily into a clear liquid.
