Protein Drinks

FINALLY........I found a mixture that I can stand to drink!!!!!!
I mixed 1 scoop of Unjury unflavored protein powder, 2 spoonfuls of Nesquick no sugar added powdered drink mix and 8 oz skim milk and it was actually good. It smelled a little funny but was great. (Also two cubes of ice)
All of the protein drinks have been gross, and I wasted so much money on them. Maybe I can stick with this.

Hope everyone had a great holiday!!!!

**I found Unjury to be particularly nasty. You might try Six Star. You can get it at Walmart...

Good luck!

Every morning I drink one serving of Zero Carb Isopure. I buy it at GNC. You can buy it online too.

DIRECTIONS:
For a rich, thick shake, mix 2 scoopfulls with 12 fluid ounces of water in a shaker or blender. If a shaker or a blender is not convenient, ISOPURE can be stirred into solution with a spoon.

NUTRITION FACTS:
Calories- 210
Carbs-0
Protien-50 g
Potassium 750 mg
cholesterol 5mg
Sodium 320 mg

Here is the link to the website you can buy it from.

They are all nasty. There is no getting around it. I am at post-op day 13 so I have been drinking them for almost a month now. My wife has tried making them interesting by adding various berries and mango but ultimately its still nasty and one has to just grin and bear it.

I drink a shake that I absolutely love...

Designer Protein Powder (chocolate)
Ice
Light Soy Milk
2 Tbsp FF Cottage Cheese
2 Pkts Equal
(and sometimes I add a teaspoon of low sugar peanut butter)

Blend all ingredients well...

It comes out like a shake, it's PACKED with protein and it tastes great. (P.S. - I don't like cottage cheese so for anyone else who doesn't, note that you can't taste the cottage cheese in it but it adds nicely to the shake).

Hope this helps someone...
