| Post delicious high protein drink recipes here please
Let's start a thread for posting your favorite tasting high protein drink. We have to get that protein in everyday and the more recipes for tasty drinks will add variety to a typically boring occasion. I have none, which is why I'm asking. Thanks for those who will post!

cant you buy protein shakes from your grocery store or pharmacy, like here in australia, they have all the vitamins and minerals you need, what could be easier than that.

it took me a LONG time to find a protein drink that i like. i don't treat my drink as a meal replacement, rather a preworkout "boost".
champion pure whey banana scream - 1scoop (130cal / 23g protein)
8oz skim milk
half banana
approx 6 frozen mango or pinapple chunks (act as ice cubes too)
blend - tastes like a smoothie....Love it!

Make a pot of strong coffee (any flavor you like)
Let it cool
Pour in an ice tray and freeze
The next morning use 4 cubes of the coffee ice
Place in blender and crush
Add two tablespoons of heavy cream (this makes it low carb)
1 packet of splenda
2 scoops protein powder (I use Body Fortress chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder from Wal-mart)
If you like you can even add a splash of DaVinci's sugar free caramel syrup
This tastes just like a frozen cappuccino to me. |

I mixed the following:
- high protein slim fast creamy chocolate shake
- 3.5 oz nonfat plain greek yogurt (1/2 a small carton of fage brand)
- packet of general mills international 'on the go' cafe mocha mix
It tastes like a mocha cheesecake - so good !!!!!!
-the mocha mix adds 60 cal. and yogurt 45 cal. but you get an additional 7.5 g protein from the yogurt
speaking of tasting like cheesecake - I'll also mix the same amount of yogurt into a vanilla shake with 1/2 cup frozen rasberries and blueberries and 2 packets splenda - delicious I have even added a whole carton of yogurt when I'm not as restricted for more protein.
In my mind - you can't beat the amount of protein you get for minimal calories with the nonfat plain greek yogurt.
