Thumbs up Nutrition Hints

Hello all,
Since a lot of people have nutrition questions I decided to look in my books (don't laugh---I am certified in: Sports Nutrition, Holistic Health, and Personal Training).

Here is a tip:
Add one tablespoon of molasses in milk for "taffy milk" it is a fair source of potassium, calcium, and iron in it!!! (use skim---low fat-high protein)...if you use Brer Rabbit brand you get a boost of 1 gram of protein!!!!!! Yay!!

*****Also, be careful of your salt intake...it has a direct effect on your calcium absorption!!!!*******

Another hint:

Clams are not only a good source of protein....but Zinc as well....Zinc aids in the healing process. Chopped clams in a little pasta...(maybe even chop the pasta) should go down fairly well.:)
