New Salad Spritzers

While shopping today I found something new I thought I would share. Wish Bone has come out with some sald spritzers, they work on the same order as the butter sprays. I got a Red Wine Mist and An Italian, and it is 1 calorie per spray. I haven't tasted them yet, but it's really cool!

Wow, those sound like my kinda gadgety things. Nothing like that on the shelves here yet but I guess its only a matter of time. We had the butter sprays and that butter powder stuff years ago and it all went off the market.

I bought all 3 varieties of salad spritzers last week. It's a really cool concept, but I'm a condiment person and the 10 sprays for one serving just wasn't enough for me. All flavors were kind of bland and didn't cover my salad well. I'm on a low sodium diet as well, so those are about as low sodium as you can get besides red wine vinegar. So I just added a little red wine vinegar to my salad to help the spritzer serving "go further."

Is that like a white wine spritzer? I'll take 2 minus the spritz thank you.

They had those about 15ish years ago, I think they were marketed under the Richard Simmons brand - might be wrong. They were HORRIBLE back then, I hope they're better now! I've seen them but passed. I'm still traumatized by the time I tried spray dressing. :D

They sound good to me.

I was telling my fiancee about them, and he joked that "you could probably put any salad dressing that would spay in there and 10 sprays would be 10 calories"

:P
