Morningstar Black Bean burgers are good!

I'm not a big vegitarian, however, my daughter is and she's often describing some of her vegitarian foods as 'yummy', so I decided to give it a try. Goodness knows I need more veggies. Well, I can attest to the Morningstar Black bean burger, it's easy to cook quickly and it is indeed very good for something quick and light to eat! It has 140 calories per patty and 12g protein!

I love 'em. There's a veggie restaurant near my work that sells from-scratch black bean burgers with baked sweet potato fries & honey maple "ketchup." Mmmm.

However, I can strongly recommend you avoid the "Tofu-rkey". Blech. :)

I love Morning Star, especially their Garden Veggie burgers, only 100 calories and dang tasty.

Try the chickpatties while you're at it. They're DELICIOUS and keep me full for every bit of 4 hours. Add a small veggie and you're set for an easy meal!

I haven't tried the black bean burgers, but they have a tomato basil burger that's got a little mozzarella in it and is really good. I also use their sausages in soup for a little extra flavor.
