Thumbs up Lump Crab Meat

So, I just wanted to say, whomever mentioned Lump Crab Meat on this board a few weeks ago is awesome, and totally correct, that stuff is GREAT.

45 Calories per serving, 10 grms of protein, its a nice little breakfast for the people who can eat in the morning.

I dont cook, I dont know anything about flavoring things, I barely know how to use a microwave, so can anyone give me suggestions on how to jazz it up a little bit and keep it as low cal as possible?

-A

I also like the crab meat. I buy the Flaky or Chunky Kroger brand. I had a cup for a snack today with a little ranch dressing. I have put it in salads as well.

Thumbs up

I love the stuff! My favorite thing to do is mix it with a tiny bit of light mayo, throw in some chopped onion and stuff it into a whole wheat pita with tons of shredded lettuce. Mmmmm! Enjoy!!!

Crab Meat Rocks! Yeah, I started a thread a few weeks ago about it. I was shocked and happy to discover what a perfect food it was. I have to get some fluid out of my band before I can eat it again. Out of the blue, it got too tight. I suspect it was because I went up in a small plane, my ears were popping like crazy and my band hurt. Been tight ever since. Someone told me that is impossible that a flight caused a tight band, that the cabins are pressurized, but if it doesn't flucuate somewhat, why would my ears pop? I have also heard some say it happened to them. Who knows.

ANYHOO! Crabmeat. Yummy. I have been putting it in soup for now and then I can get it down.

LOVE 2 YOU ALL!

I buy mine in the fresh seafood market section of the supermarket. Either in a pouch or a plastic tub. I know there are cans on the aisle with the Tuna and Salmon, but I've never tried it.

It is one I get from a natural food market. It is their brand. it is expensive

But when I am in a rush I will get the immitation because the protein is in good quantity. and calories is not too much.

I dont really pay that much attention to carbs. I try to keep them from not going to much over my protein in fitday. but I dont know how many your suposed to have or what low really is.

LOL ... and i dont worry about protein. as long as i get a minimum of 60g in a day, im good. if i shoot up to 100 for a day, all the better. i need as much protein as i can get with my upcoming plastics.

that's the beauty of the band. you can pick a plan that works for you and stick with it.

So are you super excited about PS? I would love to see some before and after pictures of it. It is something I incredibly want to have done. I am hoping I wont need to much but in reality I am sure I will need to have plenty.
