| So what proteins do you usually eat after you've been banded for awhile. I eat alot of chicken breasts now, and I have been reading that chicken is hard to eat after banding.

| I have never had a problem with chicken. Others have said it's very hard for them. The band is very individual. The best thing is to just try things cautiously. I also eat alot of grilled fish, such as tilapia or mahi mahi and of course, tuna. I boil eggs alot, but I can't eat scrambled. I eat alot of Breakstones Snack size Cottage Cheese and I love it. I also eat alot of beans, such as pintos or black eyed peas and butter beans. I also eat alot of crabcakes, especially if they are on the menu at restaurants.
