Can you not do chewables? I take flintstones chewables because I don't like the taste of the Centrum chewables. I'm not sure I've seen liquid vitamins but, you might consider doing a search online to find them :) Good luck.

State: connecticut | Best are the ones you get at the Health Food store-they are all natural and most are organic. Mix with some juice and it's a no brainer. The only thing is the greenish color...lol...get over it They also have a nice fruity flavor-unlike Centrum which tasted very metallic to me...

I take centrum liquid. They are available at our local drug store and grocery store.

City: Moore State: Oklahoma | I have used "Source of Life" liquid vitamins for years (for some reason, vitamins in pill form upset my tummy). I love them, they are all natural AND include spirulina which is an awesome supplement for overall health. (I'd love to find Spirulina in a liquid form to take straight, but I've been lazy and haven't located any).
Anyway, the "Source of Life" line is pretty good stuff. I get it at my local health food store. |

Has anyone taken "liquid" iron. September will be 3 years since my surgery and recently I have found that my blood is very low...(it was a 7 before giving me 3 units of blood). After three days in the hospital and they find no bleeding, the doctors have come to the conclusion that it is an iron deficiency (or at least for the most part). I simply cannot take the tablets of iron, looking for something in liquid to build my level up quickly.

There definately is liquid iron you can take. Ask your pharmacist the next time you go in because they usually store it behind the counter. I was on the pill form prior to surgery and asked my pharmacist and that's how I got the liquid form. I have to admit though the taste isn't very good at all. I haven't had to take it for quite some time but, you might also want to ask if you can flavor it.
Good luck.

Bariatriceating.com has a chewable iron tablet. It is very small and the one I got is strawberry. I take it with my chewable vitamin from there as well. Since I only live about a 45 minute drive from there, I have gone in and sampled all their stuff before buying it. If anyone ever gets the chance to go to their store in South Florida, it is well worth the trip. There is nothing in the store that you can't sample. Since all this diet stuff is so expensive, it really makes a difference to test it out first. They actually have a tasting bar, and you can pick all the flavors and combinations you want.

Try chewable prenatal vitamins. They taste just like flintstone vitamins. My physican wrote me a script for them and I got them free at my pharmacy because they have some program where prenatal vitamans are free.

I get my liquid vitamins at Costso. For a 1 month supply (1 bottle) it costs about $11.00. I think that's a good price.
