Damn, the title of this thread really caught my eye until I realized it wasn't in the adults only section. :(
An ice cube is about an ounce. I know that for beverage purposes, 8 oz fluid + 4 ice cubes is considered 12 oz.

It seems to me you could measure how much water goes into one empty ice cube mold and go from there.

Okay - sexually speaking what is the ice cube method??
each ice cube is 1oz. I made all of my son's baby food. Pureeing is a fun task if you have a decent food processor. I started with a hand held blender stick and it suuuuuuuuuuuucked. Don't forget to cover with plastic wrap, not tin foil. and then drop it a few times on the counter to get the bubbles out.
When all frozen, put in ziploc bags with the date on them, and also the name of the food. It's amazing how they all look alike after they're frozen. Frozen fruits and veggies keep for 3 months. (just fyi, not that you asked :) )
