How much is to much liquid

I am now at the second week of my surgery and am on thicker liquids....how much is to much to drink.....I drink a lot of soup and my three ensures I am suppose to have....and drink till am I am full lol and water which seems all the time to keep me full....am I overdoing the liquids......

You really can not overdue the liquids during the liquid phase since liquids go right through your pouch..do not want to get dehydrated

I remember posting almost exactly the same question. As you heal your hunger will return, and if you're still on liquids it takes a lot to satisfy the hunger. But don't worry--as long as you're following the instructions with regard to texture, you can't overdo it on liquids. Quantity limitation comes LATER. Now just concentrate on healing and getting through the phases. Congratulations on your banding!

My doctor told me I can have/should have as much soup and liquids as I wanted. I try to stick with three "meals" of soup, etc. and fill myself with cold water the other times. Sometimes having a pudding helps too (fat free).
