Feel food going through your band?

I don't know if I am feeling this or just imagining things, but does anyone feel thier food going through the band and into the other portion of the stomach. It almost feels like a slight pain or maybe a nudge presumably around where the band is...

Any thoughts?

I totally feel this same sensation. I can't wait to talk to my doc on the 5th of dec to see what this is. It almost hurts for a few seconds
and then it seem as the food pushes through the band and then the pain goes away. I've only had one fill, what about u?

try chewing more and smaller bites, that feeling is probally what I refer to as a clog..a bit of food that is almost too big to go down but squeezes through somehow..this is different from a blockage, where the food gets stuck. If you've just had the band in or a fill, you're probally not used to the small bites and chewing involved. I used to cover just the tip of the fork with food and chew a crap load..just remember--chewing involves muscles..which means you are technically working out..so just extend your workout some!

Sometimes, if I eat too fast, I can feel the same sensation but it goes away pretty quickly. I just have to remember to slow down. Maybe I'm imagining things too, but I swear sometimes I can hear things passing through the band LOL.

Not exactly, but kind of. When I get a bit blocked, and start to slime a little, I couldnt put my finger on what I actually feel but I get a premonition that its about to happen, then a sense of relief as the blockage clears. Yet I cant actually "feel" it go through, I just suddenly know it has. Does that make any sense?

I feel this too...especially if I take a drink after eating several bites. It does kind of hurt. I know I'm eating too fast and not chewing well enough. I'm working on it but it is hard to break a lifetime of habits.

i can feel it whenever i decide to take a drink. i try not to make a habit of drinking with my meals, but sometimes when i snack i would drink. i'm on liquids right now though. however, if i ate a snack and then took a drink, i would feel it sort of pop through. it didn't hurt, but i felt it.

Yes, I can totally feel my food go through. Especially if I drink while eating.
