Hey quick question:
How do you guys eat cold cereal with milk since we are not suppose to drink and eat at the same time. I am just curious how much milk you guys add.
Thanks
Chris

| Re: Eating Cold Cereal I'm only a day out of surgery, so I don't have any experience, but at the last support meeting I attended, the doctor said use just enough milk to moisten the cereal. That doesn't sound too appetizing to me. |

I like less milk in my cereal when I eat I prefer the crunch of it :) But yes I eat cereal. I can't eat much but probably 1/4 cup -1/2 cup cereal and less than 1/2 cup milk

I never put milk on my cereal - it's not a band thing; I've done it since childhood. At the risk of hearing everyone say EWWW, Yuck, I put one or two tablespoons of fruit yogurt on top. So, it moistens it, but still leaves some crunch, less sogginess but I still get the calcium and fruit. YUMMMM!

Sounds good to me because I do something similar...
Use greek yogurt on my cereal since it has a ton of protein for yogurt and use honey to sweeten the cereal and yogurt.

Well, I've never seen dry cereal dry as a meal... though that was a bad-habit snack food.
I had "south Beach" cereal yesterday for the first time. Put some milk, but not as much as I used to. Made a very filling breakfast.

I do 1 cup cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk. When done eating if there is milk left I pour it out, I don't drink it. I have never drank the milk in my cereal, it was always a turn off for me so not drinking it with the band is no difference.
