Still very confused

I had my band done in France with follow up visits in Bristol which is over a 3 hour drive, does anyone else have this problem with travel, I paid £130 for my first fill is this normal, i have never had an x-ray.

Is there anyone out there in the North West going for fills local to them

I havent lost much weight at all tomorrow I am going to have some fluid removed but not sure how much, at the moment I have 3mls in and thats to restricting for me, I think I had my fill too soon I didnt give myself time to get use to the band I was in a hurry to get started but its not working for me.

How much should I pay for a de-fill ?? and should I have all 3mls taken out or just 1 or 2 dont know what to do:help::cry:rolleyes

I wish I could help! I will say that I have had 4 fills and the last one is the one that has REALLY helped!

Sorry you are not doing well, but sometimes it takes several fills to hit your sweet spot. I havc 2cc in a 4 cc band and it is working great for now. As i lose i will need another fill. Are you eating right and drinking lots of water??? The water is very ,very important. So is exercise. Best of luck. Donna

Zelda,

What you paid for a fill, sounds right. I don't pay anything for a de fill. You may only need .2 or .5 removed. I would wait 30 min, before I left the dr. office to make sure. good luck

Hi there,
I pay £90 for a fill in London. It costs me £130 to have a fluro fill in Belgium. You can also have them with the same company as I have them with. I had my surgery with EOC in February 2007 have just got back from having a scond surgery as my port detatched from tubing, so I will be having another fill soon. 3mls doesnt sound that much. Do you have a 10 ml band or a 4 ml band?
anyway, £90 is good in the UK.

check it out - they will always fit you in even if you didnt have your surgery with them,
