Hello all, I was banded 1/18/07 and it was the best decision I have ever made. I will be at 5 months tomorrow and I'm down 70 lbs! This includes the weight I lost doing my pre-op diet and low carb diet about 1 month before my surgery.

We have another January Bandster support thread under the General Discussion thread - entitled January Bandsters. We have lots of great people over there who are successful.

I will be checking in here too!

Hi,
I was banded on Jan 15th,2007 I weighed in at 137kg on the day of my op. I am sitting at my goal weight of 65kg today,16 months AFTER banding! The BEST decision I have ever made was the day I decided to be banded!! To anyone going thru a rough patch with the whole experience...hang in there...it is definately worth it! Keep up all your good work and awesome posts,
