Dr. Hekier and Dr. Keilin did my banding on 9-13-06. They and their team are very caring and understanding. I had the procedure and was back home (1 hr from the hospital) by 3:30pm. No problems with nausea but was very very sore post-op for about 3 days, of course the soreness improved every day. I was off work for 1 week. Each follow-up and fill - they are patient, listen to my concerns and are very caring. I was very upset recently because I had hit a plateau (not losing but not gaining either thankfully) - burst into tears when Dr. Hekier asked how I was and he was very caring and encouraging. I highly recommend them
