Waiting list in Scotland

hi

i have been looking around the site for a while now as i have been looking into the possibility of having surgery and i have approached my doctor and asked for it, she says that all avenues have to be explored first so she has put me on a course of Acomplia which is giving me terrible mood swings, however as i have been researching it on the net i am not sure if it is available in the Lothians? i know it is available in Glasgow but they do not take referrals from other NHS trusts and i can't find any reference to in in the east of Scotland, has anyone on here had it done through the NHS and lives in the East?
