Nov banding

Anyone having Lap Band fitted at Spire Hospital Hampshire, in November or December.

hi was banded in nov at the chichester hospital by mr sommers, but have my fills at the spire in portsmouth :clap2:

how long did you have to wait for your first appointment and then the surgery with Mr Somers. I have been referred and obviously can't wait

i first saw mr sommers on 26th oct 2007 and was banded on 7th nov 2007 paying private, so far have lost 3 stone but since first fill not a thing but i feel smaller and my clothes are starting to hang, still gettig a few niggles from time to time but having a fill next week so will ask him why no loss

wow, I wish I could go private, three stone is great I have 6 to lose that would put me half way. Well done, let me know how you get on I am very interested.

keep in touch and let me know when you get your date , although the weight has stopped at the moment i think it is my body adjusting, still i will tell you i feel great and full of life. Idont know about you but all the diets dont work i have a very slow metabolic rate but no thyroid prob, the one thing you will love about mr sommers is he speaks to you as a real person and not like the doctors do as if you dont try to diet and you are just a lazy fat person. I have 3 to 4 stone to go then i will be happy keep in touch. One last thing do you watch mr sommers on the fat doctor prog on sky discovery living, he is making a new prog as we speak for release in march, take care helen

I wont get my initial appointment until around march, then surgery about 5 months later by which time you will be a stunner! same as you i have tried every thing but had two spinal surgeries and therefor cant move around a lot. I still try but I am not getting anywhere fast but due to complications during my surgery my surgery has been funded which is a great bonus but a long wait. I won't even buy clothes now, I am just waiting now. To me it is very important I have heard that Somers is a gem and I am pleased that I have been referred to him. I live in Kent where are u? It seems we both have the same amount of weight to lose, still think u have done fantastic so far.
