fills - would really appreciate some advice

Hi all,

I have a question which i am hoping those more experienced in banding can answer.

I just got off the phone with the clinic and have been advised that i have an appointment with the consultant on the 18th July. This will be for a post surgery check up and my first fill.

I have just realised that on the evening of the 18th i am flying out with my family for a trip to Australia.

Do you think that would be a problem? What kind of troubles do you encounter after fills? I dont think the cabin pressure on the trip will be an issue but am just concerned about any possible complications or problems i might run into while on hols.

any thoughts would be welcome.

Nothing at all will happen. the only thing you can expect is to be on liquids for 24-48 hrs. depending on your doctor. After band fills you can continue your regular life just without any eating of course for a day or so..lol

good luck
