well, felt like a small piece of cod and a spoonful of mash last night after 10 days of soup, it was great, felt very full and content. Then this morning had 2 pieces of small wholemeal toast, ate very slowly and was really really full towards the end of 2nd piece.
I am so please I did this, back to work on Monday, hurrah!

CONGRATS!!! It is all a learning process, we have to feel a little pain to know what we can and cannot eat. Keep us updated.

City: milton keynes State: buckinghamshire | one month in
Hi
One month in and have lost 2st 7lbs, all slowing down now, no fill due until Sept.
Have found things easy so far, I went out with the wife for our anniversary last week and had a bowl of crab soup as starter and then tried to eat a lemon sole, I was so full I only ate 1/3rd of the fish, as much as I wanted some bread, I didn't eat any with the emal, I had a crust the other day and was really bad, so never doing that again, I was so full I had bad wind and couldn't stop belching, which was nice but in no way romantic :-)
Wish I had a fill due now as things have slowed right down and I'm eating a little more each day, onto 2 slices of wholemeal toast every morning, a bowl of soup for lunch, a bowl of soup for dinner and maybe a slice of wholemeal toast as a snack if hungry.
I am unable toe at any solids yet, but will try slowly next week.
Kevin

Hi Kevin
2 and half stone in a month is blooming brilliant!!! I'm now 2 weeks and am dying to weigh myself, but I'm waiting for my follow up appointment which is in another 2 weeks time. I think I'm getting my fill then. I'm starting to feel a little bit hungry, but I haven't even attempted toast yet - I'm too scared. Still sticking to a soft diet but I think I'm craving sweet things. To be honest I don't think I'm hungy, I think I'm craving more than anything!
Keep going won't be long til your fill - your doing great so far.

cheers,I was really anxious to try toast, I ate really slowly and small pieces and it went well. I always eat wholemeal but never eat crust, ate it once and really had a problem and became anxious about it so steer clear of crust.
let me know how you go in 2 weeks time, have you noticed weight loss yet?

Hiya.
Definately notice a difference with my clothes. My jeans are huge and I can slip them off without having to take buttons or zips down! Sometimes I look in the mirror and I think I can't see any difference. Other times though, I can really notice it - which is fantastic after just 2 weeks.
Very lethagic and grumpy though - I'm off on holiday from work and go back next Monday. I hope I lighten up my mood and get more energy before then. (haven't told workmates)!!

I was really lethargic but seem to have got through it now, it took me at least 3 weeks. Sounds like the wights falling off you, great start.

Hi Keving,
You are doing so well so far. Can I ask why you are not having a fill until September? That seems like a really long time to wait.

That is fantastic weight loss. Well done. I am so desperate to weigh myself but it'll wait.
Chinese - YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry i couldn't help it - the only thing i can think of is the soup! I think rice is a bit tricky, but I wonder if noodles would be better? Not very helpful, but I know our more experienced bandsters will be able to help. ENJOY.

I tried to get one early July but because of business commitments I couldn't make it in London, I am away for the first 3 weeks of August so the earliest I could get a fill is Sept. Although I would like to get one done before I go away on Aug 1st.
If anyone knows of someone who does it near milton keynes etc, would appreciate it.
