Worried

Hi I'm self-paying and I have my first appt. with the surgeon on Nov. 20th. I'm 26 yrs old 5'4 and weigh 215lbs. My BMI is 38. I don't have any major health problems. I'm worried they will turn me away. My question is what are the chances they won't Lap Band me? Has anyone ever heard of someone being turned away for reasons other then medical?

If you are self pay I am betting you get the band. If you were relying on insurance maybe not.
