Thats a good one too, but I think I am leaning toward August All Stars!! We could make a really pretty banner with that, stars and sparkley (if thats even a word)

My surgery is Sept. 3. I am so worried that the Dr. will get in and not be able to do it because of my liver. Has anyone not been able to have the surgery due to the size of their liver?

Tally, that is the reason for the weight loss before surgery. Apparently, the liver is the first thing to get fat and the first thing to slim down when you lose weight. Hence, the reason for the pre-op weight loss. Plus, I think it's just a good thing for healing purposes and to get in the right mind set. I'm starting my liquid pre-op diet on Sunday. My doc requires a 5% weight loss prior to surgery. That's 16 lbs. I have no idea how long it will take to lose that much on liquid protein. I'm guessing 3 weeks?

So I guess I'm an August All Star as well. I turned 30 this March and it really did a number to me. I realized I was never happy with myself in my 20s and I'll never get that back. So... here I am. I started my journey March 1 and I've finally got my date for August 5 in Columbia, MO. I've lost 20 pounds on my own and will be on the 2 week liquid diet prior. I started out a size 24 and down to a 22. I'm not sure of my goal weight but my goal size is about a 12. I'm 5'10" so I don't need to be super skinny.

I've been reading post after post on this site for weeks. I'm so amazed at the progress many have had. Oddly I feel like I know many people on here in a weird stalkish kinda way (totally a joke, I'm not a stalker) . I can't wait for it to be our turn to start posting before and after pics. By the way, remember to take all kinds of photos during your journey. I'm planning on doing a monthly photo shoot for my brag book.

For those of you going on cruises, I'm quite jealous. I have to go on a business trip for 4 days DURING my liquid diet. I'm going to be a bear. Tonight I have been packing for a weekend trip to Branson. I'll just pretend it's a cruise or some place exotic.

Ok, so now that I think we have a name for oursleves, how do we get the sparkley words on our signatures? One website is sparklee.com, but I for the life of me can't figure out how to make it into the signature. I can't even get my ticker to work...so if anyone knows how to do that and can share with everyone we can all have August All Stars on our signatures.

I started a poll to vote for a name on a seperate thread. There are some really good choices out there, of course I voted for Augusts All Stars...so everyone go vote!!!
