When to Stop Eating
I am having surery on October 9 and my doctor did not give any major diet changes before my surgery. I do have to reduce my caloric intake and start exercising more, which I am, but my firend that had it last December said that she ate Jack in the Box the night before and my boss said she was on liquids for three days before. What have you found to be best?:confused2:

Do what your surgeon tells you, that's what's best! Seriously; everyone and every surgeon is different; you need to follow his/her advice!

I am having my surgery on September 9 and I had that same question. Some doctors require the patient to do a liquid diet before hand if they have a fatty liver or have an extremely high BMI. I don't have to do any of that.
And than I heard some people just want to do it to jumpstart their bodies.
