I want to be able to do the following:

1. wear shoes that tie (I don't bother trying to tie shoes anymore)
2. sit anywhere I want whether it be an airplane seat, theater seat, or restaurant booth
3. walk my students to lunch and back without having to basically collapse when I get back (I'm a teacher)
4. buy clothes from the regular stores/departments
5. comfortably get in the backseat of my two door car
6. see my "cat" (sorry if that's TMI)

The only reason I don't worry about painting my toenails is that my loving husband has taken care of that task for the past ten years. (I'm such a lucky girl!)

Okay here's a few of mine:
-shopping for "regular" sized clothes
-not hiding from people I know when I run into them because I'm embarrased how much I've gained
-not fearful of breaking the chair/furniture that I sit upon (this actually happened to me, I sat on my aunt's lounge chair and heard a huge CRACK) sooooo embarassing
-not being judged by my appearance and people actually getting to know the "real" me
-and doing all sorts of activities I love but avoid because of my size
Can't wait......just a matter of time :)

Here's a few more I thought about.
-I used to be real out going and socialable and as I put on more and more weight I have become very reclusive.
-my son always says I used to be so much fun and I was known for my very infectious laugh.
-have people not assume I am stupid because I am so overweight.
-Go into a regular store and buy clothes instead of shopping from a catalogue.
-I love swimming and do swim even now, but people look at me like I shouldn't be there.
-Be able to walk without the pain in my knees.
-Go out with my son's size 2 fianance and not feel so self conscious (she is really so sweet to Me)

6. Being able to look at clothes in any store not being forced to drive to find a big girl store
7. NOT have to explain to my skinner friends that yes there are sizes bigger than 12 and I can’t fit into that shirt/skirt/pants/ etc
8. Not be sweating or out of breath or red faced when I walk from the parking lot to work

15. Be able to fit in and also get out of the backseat of a car
16. Be able to follow dress code and tuck in my shirt
17. Being able to cross my legs like a girl and not the ankle on the knee guy leg cross
18. Own and wear a swimsuit that doesn’t have a skirt on it, oh and no back fat!
19. Not wondering about weight restrictions (on basically everything)
20. Having a guy see me for me and not my size
21. Not cringing when my knees and hips pop as I go up the stairs
22. Wearing a bra that fits right that doesn’t cost extra because of strange sizes
23. S*x
24. Being able to sit in a chair without having to worry that I’m spilling over the edges
25. Not having to ask my friends when trying on clothes “does this make me look pregnant?”
26. Being able to bend over at work without swinging my leg up to balance myself out
27. Go horseback riding without having my weight determine the horse I ride.
28. Travel and feel comfortable traveling
29. Being in a car and not having the seat belt reach it’s limit and do that locking thing for car seats

I look forward to it NOT being an effort to roll over in bed. * I look forward to not having a rash in between my thighs when trying to wear a skirt or dress. * I look forward to having an XL t-shirt be BIG. * I look forward to being able to take a shower with my husband. * I look forward to wearing heals, not because they are uncomfortble, but because I will not be afraid to teeter over. * Looking forward to not buying underwear made with lycra. * Looking forward to it NOT being an effort to get out of a little car. * Looking forward to going to the buffet and not having other people be turned off. * I'm looking forward to being off blood pressure medication. * I'm looking forward to playing a game of kick-ball and actually running the bases. * I'm looking forward to being healthy. * I look forward to dancing on a dance floor and not just bopping in my chair.

We'll all get there! Yeah!

And These Thighs :(

I want to be able to drive other people's cars without bruising the top of my thighs trying to squeeze under their steering wheel.

I think I am looking forward to all the things mentioned so far. The other really big thing I am looking forward to is to finally be able to see the parts of my body that have been lost for years. lol

The toenails....How do you do that standing?

You have to blow out, then bend over, paint one nail, nearly suffocate because your "rolls" are pressing so hard on your chest that you cannot inhale, grab your lower back and groan as you stand back up, suck in air like it's your first breath after birth. Repeat until you get all 10, or turn blue, or both!

I am 300 and still do mine. I sit on the couch and rest my foot on the coffee table. I can angle it enough to get all 5 piggies. Even when I was "regular" sized, I never could touch my toes while standing! Conversely, I could do a mean splits...always! ;-)
Sorry for the TMI but I want to be able to easily wipe my bee-hind!
