Third day since my first fill and smelling food makes my stomach hurt

I was able to eat mushy food for lunch today like my DR said but when I tried to eat my mushy dinner just the smell of food alone made my stomach hurt. I decided to just drink some water and go to bed. I think that I will just try my soup in a can tomorrow. Any suggestions you have will be appreciated.
