OTC meds after surgery

I would like to get some feedback on what kind of OTC things you guys are buying to treat gas, indigestion, pain and what kind of vitimans do you take?My surgery is Jan 24 and I want to have the house stocked so my hubby doesn't have to run out in the middle of the night for something. My post op instructions are no pills!!!!!Thanks to all who reply. Also feedback on what protein supplements you like and don't like would be helpful. Please tell me where you buy the meds and supplements also.Thank you!

Gas X Strips are AWESOME! Liquid Tylenol works exceptionally well. Also, I chew Flintstones vitamins and those caramel calcium chews. My doc told me to get a pill crusher and add my Flintstones to OJ or grape juice. As far as the calcium chews, they fairly well melt in your mouth. Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Walmart, KMart, Target, etc all have these items.

Good idea is to read the monthly post-op boards. I post in December 07 under Roberta's surgery. I was just operated on yesterday. Good luck :)

Don't bathe 'til all the scabs have fallen off - at least that was what I was told.

I don't have any scabs? I have been sitting in the tub with it up to my hips but not near my scars. It's not a full bath, but it's still nice- especially with period cramps!
