Stomach and back Pain - Help!

Hello everyone

My grandmother got her operation 3 days ago which went well, however, now three days later she is getting serious hunger like pangs (just AFTER she eats) which seem to resonate a bit sorer into her back.

Has anyone else experienced such pain leading to there back?

Any help would be great thanks!

What is your grandmother eating? If she is only three days out from surgery,then she should only being having liquids,jello, sf popcicles,soups. If it continues I would call the doctor. Good luck

I had my surgery 8 days ago and I still have some pain that starts under my rib cage and back pain too. My doctor said its because the diaphragm gets stretched during surgery and it's painful for a little while, especially in the back. So, he just has me taking extra ibuprofen to help with the inflammation (800mg 3 times a day), and said it will go away with time.
