Semi-gross question-enter at your own risk!

Ok, so here's the thing. I have seen alot of people say that they are constipated frequently after being banded. I am having the opposite problem. I swear I feel like all I do is poo!! I used to go once or twice a week before being banded, now I'm going once or twice a day?? Anyone else have this issue?

For about the first month after being banded I was like this, now I would kill for it!! Now once a week is about the norm. How long have you been banded?

Once or twice a WEEK??????? Good grief...I'd say you are just about getting to be "normal" pooping twice a day!!!! You are definitely not eating the quality of fiber you should be if you only poop once a week or so....WOW!

Well, color me wrong....

Not everyone has bowel movements once a day. Don't believe ads that say you must have a daily bowel movement to be "regular." A normal range is generally 3 times a day to 3 times a week. You may be getting constipated if you begin to have bowel movements much less often than you usually do.

Everyone is different, but I would say if it is something that causes you distress like straining, etc., you need to rethink your fiber intake.

A bit of topic but in the same general "area"

Anyone experienced very frequent green diarrhea (less than 1 week post-op)?
