Pulmonary CT scan

Uh-Oh. I had my pre-op testing on Friday morning, and went to the surgeon's office for my Case Management appt yesterday. It seems there is some sort of "shadow" on the chest x-ray, so they want a Pulmonary CT scan to see if anything of concern. The nurse said it may just be a rib shadow, but just in case...

Anyone had one of these? I don't feel like I have heart problems, but I guess one never knows.

I'm getting ready to have plastic surgery for my saggy skin and my pre-op chest xray showed a "patchy infiltrate" on the left lung so I had to have a CT Scan. It only took about 10 minutes, was completely painless, and the "patch" turned out to be nothing of any significance. I hope you have the same good results. Good luck with your LAP-BAND® too!

I had a CT urogram a few months back and it was a piece of cake.

Whew! I had the CT scan on Friday morning, and it showed nothing out of the ordinary. They didn't even have to use contrast to get a clear picture, so no IV.
