Question Protein Shakes vs. Protein Liquids

Hey all.

I find that I just can't get in the loaded heavy protein shakes. I bought IDS New Whey Liquid protein. 40g of protein in just 3 oz. Think that would sustitute for the thick shake?

Sherilynn,
Just wondering where you found the IDS Whey protein in 3 oz form. I also live in New Jersey and went to a GNC store but they never heard of it. I have not yet been banded but am in the process. I have a stress test to complete and then I will get my surgery date.

Linda I found the protein shots at the Vitamin Shop. I would suggest that you buy the individual tubes first to see which flavor you can tolerate. I made the mistake of buying a case for about $27 bucks with the discount, but it was all one flavor (grape) ughh! You can also order it online at the vitamin shoppe or Bariatricedge.com, if you don't have a Vitamin Shoppe near you, but you won't have the option of trying them first.
